Hot Lunch Information Letter-Revised

The St. Juliana Hot Lunch Program has run successfully and provided our children with lunch for many years. Over the past few years we have incorporated quite a few changes, including: serving lunch every full day, offering fresh fruits/vegetables with every meal, and creating a more balanced and nutritious lunch. We would like to continue, but in order to do this we need your help!

Offering hot lunch on every full day of school does require a large number of volunteers. If we do not have enough volunteers to staff the schedule, we will need to cut back our days of service. We would prefer not to do this, if at all possible.

If you have any free time to spare (and yes, you will receive volunteer hours), please consider volunteering to help serve lunch to our awesome kids! All of our students would love to see their Mom, Dad, or grandparent handing them their lunch at school every day. Any school parent, who would like to volunteer to serve during lunch, is welcome to help. The commitment will be from approximately 10:30am-12:30 p.m. on the day you volunteer. (*Requirement: You must be fingerprinted and Safe Environment cleared.)

Please read the attached sign-up sheet and return to the school office.

Thank you for your support and assistance.

For those families who are unaware, our hot lunch program is designed to serve our students a well-balanced nutritious lunch while raising money for the 6th Grade Astrocamp adventure, the 8th grade Washington D.C. trip, luncheon, and graduation dance.
