Extended Daycare

St. Juliana Catholic School offers Extended Daycare.

A fee of $1.00 per minute is charged for students remaining in the program after 6:00 p.m. Repeated failure to pick up your child from Extended Daycare on time will result in your child not being allowed to attend the program. Students must arrive by 11:00 a.m. during the regular school day (10:00 a.m. for half days) to be eligible to attend Extended Daycare. Students not picked up by the end of carpool will be sent to Daycare and the fees attendant to that program will apply.

Morning Care Overview

6:30 AM - 7:20 AM

Parents are asked to accompany their children into the Extended Care Room, by way of the school breezeway, and a staff member officially sign their child into the program. Students are welcome to play games, read books, color, study, or simply relax before the 7:20 am bell.

Afternoon Care Overview

END OF CARPOOL – 6:00 PM ON REGULAR SCHOOL DAYS: END OF CARPOOL – 6:00 PM ON HALF DAYS

Our afternoon care staff appreciates each student’s need to wind down from the rigors of the school day.  Upon arrival, students will have time and opportunity to play outdoors, weather permitting, eat a snack, work on homework, and enjoy socializing with peers.  Parents are asked to come in and a staff member will officially sign their children out when picking up.

Snacks/Beverages

A snack and beverage will be provided at daycare each day. Please notify the daycare director of a student’s food allergy as soon as possible.

Cell Phones

Students may NOT use cell phones while at daycare. All cell phones, if brought to daycare, will be stored in a secure area and given to the student upon check-out. Any student caught using a cell phone during daycare will have the phone confiscated and taken to the office. The parent may pick up the phone the next day.
